These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experience, and services that connect customers with licensed pharmacies, qualified healthcare professionals, and independent delivery riders ("Services"). By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Nigerian law to use the Services. Pharmacies, providers, and riders must operate under valid licences and pass our verification checks.
2. The marketplace
L'Anuwa is a marketplace. Medicines are sold by independent licensed pharmacies; clinical services are delivered by independent licensed professionals; deliveries are completed by independent riders. L'Anuwa facilitates the transaction, payments, and logistics but is not the seller of record for medicines or the provider of clinical services.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety rules.
4. Orders, prescriptions, and clinical advice
Prescription-only medicines require a valid prescription. Our pharmacy partners may decline, modify, or substitute items where clinically appropriate. The information shown in the app is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
5. Pricing, fees, and payments
Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira and may change. Final pricing, delivery fees, and any applicable taxes are confirmed at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment partners; by paying you authorise the charge for the order, delivery, and any applicable platform fees.
6. Delivery
Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or partner capacity. You must be available to receive controlled or temperature-sensitive items. Riders may require photo ID for restricted products.

8. Acceptable use
- No resale, diversion, or stockpiling of medicines obtained through the Services.
- No misuse of prescriptions, identity documents, or another person's account.
- No harassment of pharmacies, providers, riders, or other users.
9. Intellectual property
The L'Anuwa name, logo, and platform content are owned by L'Anuwa or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, L'Anuwa is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Lagos State, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights.
